Zeno’s Paradox…...The proof that you will never believe

                                           Zeno’s Paradox

Zeno paradox says that one can and have never reached its destination ever in this world, mathematically. The prove is given..I challenge you to prove it wrong.........

What will you say if I say, I can prove that you can never reach and have never reached your destiny marked? Think I am mad?? THAT will lonely make me more confident. To be clear, If you say that you want to go 1km away and after traveling exactly 1km you have reached your destination, then you are wrong. Want prove…..????

Suppose you want to travel a distance of 1 km and you take 1 hour to complete you journey…then……in half the time you will reach half the distance. That was simple, that means that you will have traveled ½ of the complete distance. Now again after half the time you traveled ¼, then 1/8, then 1/16 then 1/32 and so on……

This will continue, like first 1000meters then 500 then 250…125…..62.5……..it will continue in fraction like   fraction always persists. This phenomenon is better understood if you know the concepts of limits of class 11^th and 12^th, it tells us that the small fraction will always tend to be zero but will never be zero because of the fractional value, and the below number cannot be zero also as it will become “not defined”. Hence proved that mathematically one never reaches a destiny set if we go by distance measurement, and keep on dividing the distance by 2 when we have covered the half the distance. This is known as the Xeno’s paradox.

1/10000000……………… and will never end cause hence there will always be some distance left for you to move for, and will be completed mathematically because a very very small

Xeno was a mathematician and he discovered this simple problem which later on turned into a big paradox. The year was around 54 A.D., after discovering this he discovered another simple problem which is another big paradox. I am not going to open that paradox, but will surely hint you…

Have you heard the story of the race between the turtle and the rabbit? The turtle won instead of being       

slower because the rabbit slept. But what will you say if the rabbit never slept and they turtle had the same speed only one thing changed that he started 1m ahead of the rabbit, and the race was of 1km or 1000meters. You will immediately say that the rabbit will race away the turtle and reach hours before the turtle. But my friends that not true, and mathematically the turtle will win the race and will always be ahead of the rabbit by some very very small fraction as above paradox proved. The same principle is applied here also, but I am not going to prove that for you, and let you use your mind and amuse your friends and girlfriends or boyfriends with this PARADOX…………

Today I while sitting at the terrace, enjoying the monsoon rains, the most irritating 6th grade creature "Mr. question mark" appeared. Very next moment his question was.... Why do earth behave as a magnet?......

 HELL.....Their are two reason why i didn't like the question...1st . Its the answer you get in the class 6th science copy....2nd. I don't like his nose....

"TELL ME WHY???"...i had no option, but to start........ but what turned out at last, was shocking and astonishing....lets begin...

Reasons for Earth Magnetism, from history up to present....

                                      

                                       1.The Giant Bar Magnet

 The most ancient and old theory says that, below the surface of the earth, their is a big bar magnet having size near to the length of the earth, and is very powerful. Hence the magnetic field around the earth is actually due to this bar magnet. This magnet south pole is towards the north pole of the earth and its north pole is towards the south pole of the earth. It is due to this reason that the compass magnetic needle shows the direction. But after the advancement of the science, this theory was proven wrong, and a new theory emerged, which ruled over 200 years.

 

                                             2.The Molten Metal Theory

This theory was really promising and was really scientific too. According to this theory, the earth magnetism is due to the molten metal present at the core of the earth. In the picture the most center part is shown, that is what the core is. Now this core circulates like or rotates like if we stir the milk in glass with a spoon. It is due to this motion of the molten metal, that acts like a electron revolving in their orbital, which causes magnetism. If the direction of the motion is reversed the pole on the earth would be reversed!!!. This theory was widely accepted till recent years until some free - sitting scientist thought of increasing the science course a para more....

 

 

                                 

 

                                        3.The ionized Atmosphere theory

Up till where I know, this is the latest and still under-check theory. It says that earth magnetism isdue the atmosphere of earth. The atmosphere contains different layer, one of which is full of ionized gases. According to scientist, this layer covers the whole earth uni formally, and we know that ions carry charge and hence produce some electricity which in turn produces the magnetic phenomenon called electro - magnetic inductance, and hence behaves as blanket of a magnet over the earth, it is due to this reason due to which earth poses magnetic fields.

                                                 The Solar Winds

I know that ideas such as knowing directions and telecommunication maybe your probable answers. But don't forget, this website shares only those information that are rare to find....The answer to your question is the solar winds.

Solar winds are the waves of flames that our suns releases at regular interval of time. These flames have the capability to melt away the earth, so how does it is still unaffected?? The answer is the earth magnetic field that do not allow these flares to enter the earth atmosphere, if the field intensity is lowered, the heat increases drastically, as seen as a effect of global warming. The Definition

Cosmic rays are rays that travel far distances through the universe and are believed to be very mysterious in their origin and structure. These rays generally travel inside the earths atmosphere and show some little effect, but their large amount can be harmful because they actually poses high energy. Today in my write, I am going to discuss about the most probable knowledge and forecast of this particle.

 

History says---

Earlier the scientist use to take cosmic rays just like any other rays, but things changed when the


US space telescope "Hubble" gave some shocking results. The photos it send depicted presence of some unknown rays with a very particular structure and way of transaction. It made them exited because its pattern looked as if some intelligent being is sending some signals through a large distance, it was also due to reason that evidences showed that the path of the rays is very long and the energy possessed by them was very high. That time was of WOW signal, and every next ray, was thought to be a signal, as we see what ever we wish to see. 

 

The Reality is that------

But later on, after deep study carried on by the scientists with proper mathematical proves and high resolution radars, it became clear that actually the rays are some bundle of particles that are coming from distance source with high energy and velocity. The studies continued, and at last the main model and widely accepted model of the cosmic rays was up. The theory says that, cosmic rays are actually elementary atoms that are ejected by some highly exited unknown phenomenon, when this particle travel the distance, they are high energetic and hence posses great velocity.  And we know that electrons of the outer most orbit are most loosely held by the nucleus, hence when these atoms travel at such a great speed they loose their electron to the surrounding, due to this, when they reach the earth atmosphere they are high in energy and positively charged. But even after so much of knowledge of the rays,  these rays still persists to be mysterious because their origin can still not be traced and neither source, even their origins co-ordinate cant be detected because these rays have some mass due to which they get attracted to the massive heavenly bodies that fall in its way, so instead of following a straight path, it follows a parabolic path and that also a mixed form whose equations maybe impossible to derive, hence they still are some kind of mysterious rays from mysterious origin and unknown paths....

Many times I have come into situation when I heard people talking about special relativity and general relativity, and you know what, most of them were wrong. Actually understanding both the theories is very easy, but the tough part is their understanding and application and it would be better if we dont talk about the mathematical application of these. The most interesting part of the theories is that both are anti to each other, that is, they both prove each other wrong but still we have to use both and in actual both do exists and are correct.
 

 

The main difference between special relativity and general relativity is all about their limitations. General relativity says that in any frame of reference, a body can not exceed the speed of light, if a body is traveling at a speed near to the speed of light and try to cross it then its time will slow down which will lead to slowdown of its velocity, and the universal law persists. here comes the famous equation of Albert Einstein of E= mc^2. This formula says that is a body travels at a speed of light then its mass will change into energy and hence it cannot cross the speed limit. (At least not in these dimensions). On the other hand, special relativity is all about  situation when the speed of body exceeds the speed of light then what happens. Time dilation came from here, mass inconsistency was from here, and everything is variable is from here. The theory says that if an object travels at a speed more then of light then it time would run slower then the rest of the universe and it s every thing would very by a factor of as shown in the right image.

Have you ever wondered how the hell scientists come to know whether a planet, satellite or any heavenly body in approaching towards earth or not. This would have been quite tough, and up till now, several accidents may have taken place. The hero for this tragedy was Mr.Albert Einstein, he gave the principle of THE RED SHIFT.

 

 

THE RED SHIFT is a phenomenon which occur when any light emitting or luminous object approaches or goes away from earth or the observer in the space. What happens is when ever any object emitting light approaches the observer, the light color of the body which is seen by the observer changes. It starts to shift opposite of V.I.B.G.Y.O.R....... that is...Violet.Indigo.Blue.Green.Yellow.Orange.Red...so when the object comes near the shift is from red up to violet...so the nearest star you will see will be in violet color and the furthest will be in red color.......now you may guessing the reason, why the back light of vehicles is in red color. The most important reason is that its penetrating power is highest. So atmosphere does not disturb it a lot.     

This is used by the super computers to calculate the speed of coming body and its distance,the quicker the shift is taking place the quicker the object is traveling. If  going away then it is called THE RED SHIFT, and if coming towards us then THE BLUE DRIFT. This happens because of the different wavelengths of light and their power of penetration. If very far we will see only red color and as it approaches us we can see blue, green etc.....

Special Relativity...at its simplest form..."INCONSISTENCY DEFINED"

Special Relativity is one of the greatest work by any scientists. It was gives by Albert Einstein. This theory governs all the macroscopic and microscopic objects........But what is the Special Relativity??? Lets unfold the pages...

 

Today my friend came to me asking me explain special relativity. Thou i knew what it is, it was simply impossible to explain to some with positively no knowledge of general relativity and variating constants with the speed of light. For me, it was something like explaining differential integration to a 3rd grade student(if he is not albert einstein).... But i took up the task.....and explanation went something as follows--

Name something that is constant--Mass??---no----this is were special relativity arrives. Special relativity talking in general for simplicity, is a theory which tells the effect on a body when it travels at or greater than speed of light. The effect is implied upon such things which we think are constant(as told by our teacher, possibly after reading this, you are going to have a good combat with them....) and ya not to forget, the Time Dilation... For example: mass, length of a body, volume etc (without any external agency)...

What the theory says is that if a body of some mass and some length travels with or above the speed of light, then its mass and length differs from the actual value when it was measured at earth..that is "with respect to earth" hence in relation to it...therefore named SPECIAL RELATIVITY...were speed of light is the SPECIAL condition..

MATHEMATICALLY---

If m is the mass of body at steady position, the  its mass at speed of light M will be given by----

                  M = m{  1/ whole root(1-V*V/C*C) } 

where v is the speed of body and c is the speed of light.... 

You know whats the best part, in place of mass M at steady position you can put any constant value like volume, length, etc and get its value at speed of light....

                                                 The Time Dilation

 The above given formula explains how time varies when the body travels with the speed of light also called the time travel.....the other form...when taken in bigger notes. For example, if a train is moving with the speed of light, the time taken to cross a platform measured by a passenger will differ by a man standing at the platform waiting for the train by the above given factor.....this is called time dilation.  

The Turning point

Albert Einstein mainly made this theory for universe expeditions, as the fun part is, he him self has proven that nothing can exceed the speed of light and says the new theory to govern this law as the General Relativity. The theory is highly mathematical and requires high mathematical knowledge(that i don't have, presently)..hence leaving its that part...it governs black holes, quasars, pulsars and expansion.

HE gave on theory and then anti of it...all this just due to the great TIME TRAVEL'S PARADOX..i have already discussed it in my other blogs..so no more of it..all that grandfather paradox and twins killing them self sucks and is tough to understand..... I hope now you would be able to understand that why is said.......don't dare to say something is constant.

You know in this busy life, we generally ignore the things which really mean to us. The thing is, around 90% of you reading must be knowing what is special and general relativity(and a fraction, maybe understanding).

you know, the functioning of our watch depends upon the a particle oscillator..ya that's true..thou hard to believe....... So below...is reveled the secret of working of  a clock

 

The watch, which ever may it be, are quartz clocks.But earlier, before their discovery, their were pendulum clocks. it was due to this reason that, earlier, people have to set it again and again. and after the discovery of the quartz clocks, everything changed....

In a quartz clock, their are various components, such as a particle oscillator, cell, processor, gears, motor etc. The process starts when cell supply a dc current to the particle oscillator, now what does this thing do is, it provides electricity to the quartz crystal, present in it, which is a piezoelectric substance. Now, the question arises what a piezoelectric substance is?  A piezoelectric substance, is a substance that produces electricity when given pressure or vibration and produces vibration when given electricity. In the clocks, the reverse property is used, the cell provides dc current that produces a vibration in the in the oscillator, now this vibration is counted by the process in the clock, when it reads 1 million vibrations per second, it sends signal to the cell, which then gives current once for the motor, and the clocks ticks the first second successfully !!!!!
